Chapter Philanthropy

Alpha Xi Delta proudly supports the world’s largest autism advocacy organization, Autsim Speaks. Autism Speaks is dedicated to increasing awareness of autism spectrum disorders, funding research into the causes, prevention and treatments for autism, and to advocating for the needs of individuals with autism and their families. Alpha Xi Delta chapters and alumnae across the country are committed to raising awareness in their communities and fundraising in support of Autism Speaks.

The Kappa Alpha Chapter is excited to bring Autism Speaks to the Kennesaw State University campus and show their support for Autism Speaks. Our chapters holds several events throughout the school year in which we raise money for children and families of autism. In the fall, we will be hosting one of Alpha XI Delta’s annual AmaXIng Challenge: Football FrenXI. Football FrenXI is a flag football tournament that consists of male and female teams and the winner of the bracket receives money towards their own philanthropy. In the spring, we Light it up Blue for Autism Awareness Month by gathering on the Green and having a balloon/lantern release. We also host another AmaXIng challenge in the spring called Xi Man. Xi Man is a male pageant that lasts throughout the week and at the end one man is crowned our Xi Man of the year. Just this year here at Kennesaw State University, the Kappa Alpha Chapter was able to raise over $13,000 for Autism Speaks! Our sisters look forward to see what we are capable of this year!
